绽放艺术风采、激发强国力量，美育浸润行动成果集中亮相。4月25日晚，第八届中小学生艺术展演活动全国汇演开幕式在湖南长沙举行。

教育部党组成员、副部长、总督学王嘉毅致辞并宣布开幕，湖南省委常委、长沙市委书记吴桂英致欢迎辞。
开幕式演出分为“寻光少年时”“追光正当燃”“闪光向未来”三个篇章，以轻盈飘逸的舞蹈、婉转悠扬的合唱、恢宏磅礴的交响乐、韵味十足的戏曲、青春激昂的朗诵剧等，充分展现新时代青少年的蓬勃朝气和家国情怀。

全国中小学生艺术展演活动每三年举办一届。本届展演活动以“绽放艺术风采、激发强国力量”为主题，分为各校和县（市、区）、地（市、州）活动，省级集中展演，全国汇演三个阶段，覆盖全国15.6万所中小学校，吸引3.74亿人次学生参与。全国汇演由教育部和长沙市人民政府共同主办，31个省（自治区、直辖市）、新疆生产建设兵团、香港特别行政区和澳门特别行政区近4000名师生代表参加。活动期间，还将举办专场展演、优秀艺术作品展览、中小学美育改革创新优秀成果展示、社会实践等活动。
