2025 年4月1 8 ‒ 20 日，由中国化工学会指导，中国化工学会化学工程专业委员会、中国石化联合会安全生产办公室共同主办，北京化工大学化学工程学院承办的“首届全国大学生危险化学品安全知识竞赛决赛”在北京化工大学昌平校区顺利举行。来自全国 49 所高校， 88 支队伍， 264 名选手和 79 名指导教师参加了本次竞赛。

首届全国大学生危险化学品知识竞赛决赛考试内容依据高校学生应具备的核心安全素养设计，涵盖安全意识、风险辨识评估能力、安全操作能力、个体防护用品使用及应急处理能力五大维度，竞赛包括理论比赛、仿真比赛、实操比赛三部分。

4月20日上午，首届全国大学生危险化学品知识竞赛决赛闭幕式在北京化工大学昌平校区励学讲堂举行。中国化学品安全协会副总工程师、大赛裁判组组长王达，中国化学品安全协会信息宣传部主任高重密，《中国化工报》社有限公司副总编辑徐岩，合肥工业大学化学与化工学院党委副书记张金锋，南京工业大学化工学院副院长潘宜昌以及化学工程学院领导以及化学工程学院领导和支持单位嘉宾出席闭幕式。闭幕式由化学工程学院副院长李颖主持。
闭幕式上，裁判组组长王达宣布获奖名单，本次大赛共产生22名“安全之星”个人奖，10个特等奖团队、18个一等奖团队、26个二等奖团队、34个三等奖团队，与会领导嘉宾为获奖团队和个人颁发证书及奖杯。
